The Climate Race to 2030 uses emissions intensity data, which is the amount of greenhouse gas emissions per unit of revenue, allowing comparison from year to year, as your business evolves and grows.

Small Business (1-19 employees): $250

Medium Business (20-49 employees): $500

Large Business (50+ employees): $1000

BRONZE

For businesses just getting started on emissions tracking and reduction. Use an estimate of your emissions intensity and plan and track your emissions reductions. Achieve at least a 5% emissions reduction over 12 months to claim your Bronze Climate Race Winner badge to use with your products and services. Estimate and reduce your emissions using GoZero's Climate Solutions.

SILVER

For businesses that measure their emissions intensity. If you have already measured your emissions intensity, use this as a baseline and track your progress over 12 months. We recommend using the Climate Action Toolbox to create a baseline and reduction plan, and track your progress. Connect with effective reduction solutions, and verify your measurements and reductions with GoZero's Climate Solutions, to receive a Silver Climate Race Winner badge, when you achieve at least a 5% reduction over 12 months.

GOLD

For businesses that have conducted carbon audits or achieved certification from leading providers and are reducing emissions each year. Simply provide your certification or audit results showing that you have achieved at least 4.2% emissions intensity reductions over 12 months to receive a Gold Climate Race Winner badge. We accept the lower threshold of 4.2% certified annual emissions reductions for the Gold Climate Race, in line with the Science Based Targets initiative's methodology.

Sign your business up for the Climate Race to 2030 and select the Bronze, Silver or Gold race category.

Participating businesses will be provided with a Climate Race 2030 participation badge and be included in GoZero's Climate Action Business Directory.

Use the badge to show your customers and staff that your business is serious about climate action.
